
Hailing from South Korea, Yeji Pyun is a New York City–based violinist with a distinguished career in contemporary and orchestral performance. Deeply committed to contemporary music, she has premiered over 50 works and collaborated closely with composers across diverse stylistic and experimental contexts. She is especially drawn to projects that dissolve the boundaries between traditional concert practice and music as a living, evolving experience, and currently serves as concertmaster of the annual MusicOn Contemporary Music Festival in NYC. She holds a Master of Music in Contemporary Violin from Manhattan School of Music and a Master of Music in Classical Violin from Mannes School of Music, studying with Curtis Macomber and Miranda Cuckson.
